These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of oliveanj.com, the website of Olivea Restaurant, 37 S Broad St, Ridgewood, NJ 07450 (“Olivea”, “we”, “us”). By using the website you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
Reservations
You can reserve in two ways on our Contact page:
- OpenTable: bookings made through the OpenTable widget or opentable.com are confirmed by OpenTable and are also subject to OpenTable’s terms.
- Reservation request form: the form sends a request. Your table is not reserved until we confirm it by phone or email.
- Please give us correct contact details so we can reach you. If we can’t accommodate a request, we’ll let you know or suggest another time.
- For larger parties, private events, changes or cancellations, please call (201) 857-0437, as early as you can.
- You must be at least 18 to send a request or a message.
Contact Us messages
Please don’t use the Contact Us form for reservations you need confirmed quickly. Call us instead. Don’t include payment card numbers or other sensitive details in a message.
BYOB (bring your own bottle)
- Olivea is BYOB. In line with New Jersey law for restaurants without a liquor license, you may bring wine or beer to enjoy with your meal. Spirits and liquor are not permitted.
- You must be 21 or older to bring or drink alcohol, and we may ask to see a valid photo ID. We won’t serve, open or pour alcohol for anyone underage, and anyone under 21 at the table may not drink.
- We may decline to open or pour, or ask a guest to stop drinking, if someone appears intoxicated or local rules require it.
- Please drink responsibly and never drive impaired.
Menu, prices and hours
Our menu, prices, prix fixe offers and hours can change, and the website may not always reflect the latest version. If a price on the website differs from the price in the restaurant, we’ll tell you before you order. Photos are for illustration. The prix fixe menu is not available on holidays.
Allergies and dietary needs
Please tell your server about any allergy or dietary need every time you visit, even if you mentioned it in your request. Our kitchen handles common allergens, including tree nuts, peanuts, dairy, gluten, eggs, fish, shellfish and sesame, so we can’t guarantee that any dish is free of them. Labels such as “Vegan” or “Gluten-Free” describe a dish’s ingredients, not an allergen-free kitchen.
Using the website
Please don’t misuse the website: no false or automated requests, no attempts to break in, overload or disrupt it, and no copying of its content for commercial use without our permission. The Olivea name, logo, text and photos belong to Olivea or are used with permission.
Other websites and services
The website links to, or can show content from, Google Maps, Instagram and Facebook. Those services are run by other companies under their own terms and privacy policies.
Accuracy and availability
We work to keep the website accurate, secure and available. We can’t promise it will always be available or error-free, and we’ll correct mistakes when we find them.
Your rights under New Jersey law
Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have under New Jersey law, including the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act and the Truth-in-Consumer Contract, Warranty and Notice Act, or any other consumer protection law that applies to you.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey. If you have a concern, please contact us first; most issues can be resolved quickly. Any dispute that can’t be resolved informally may be brought in the state courts of Bergen County, New Jersey, or in any other court where you have the right to bring it.
Changes
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Changes apply from that date and don’t affect anything that happened before.
